No TV for a month
Day 2 of no TV. Not too bad. We are allowing ourselves to use the TV for DVD's and to play Wii. But no network shows, news programs and other junk in our brains for the next 28 days. On day 1 we never turned the TV on. Today we were wanting to so we watched Shrek 2 and a couple episodes of the old Muppet Show. The rest of our normal TV time we spent playing Yahtzee and reading blogs.

awesome! turn off the tube! I have no TV but download shows and watch DVDs when I feel like it. I love that you can watch at your own pace but also that there are NO COMMERCIALS! I hate those things, especially if you are trying to not eat crap as most of the food ads are terrible for you.
